Features
  • The Alpha (red eyes) is the lowest launching, spinning of the bunch. The Beta (Green Eyes) launches higher and spins more than the alpha and the Gamma (Gold eyes) is supposed to be the highest launching, spinning of the three. So in order of lowest launch to highest launch, it goes Alpha, Beta, Gamma.

The Aldila Rip uses brand new patent pending technology and proprietary materials to completely revolutionize shaft design from the inside out. RIP Technology repositions crucial materials and patterns to increase flex and torsional properties of the carbon fiber. Aldila engineers were able to completely rethink the way shafts are made improving performance and design capabilities. The result if a revolutionary shaft design with optimal flex and increased stability near the clubhead. While most shafts will bend and whip right before impact, the Aldila RIP maintains its stability throughout the swing.

  • The shaft provides reduced spin rate which increases roll after landing. The Aldila RIP is a shaft that will improve players’ ball flights. The Aldila RIP is a lower torque shaft designed for lower handicap players looking for a tour like trajectory with increased roll and ideal launch angle. The Aldila RIP wood shaft just came out this year and is already receiving rave reviews from touring pros and amatuers alike. Tip stiffness and tip stability are the characteristics that pros are looking for.

  • It was first tested at the John Deere Classic in 2009 but made it’s big bang at the SBS Championship in which it took first and second.

  • Try the Aldila Rip, all of our guys have changed to this shaft and has produced amazing results. We wouldn’t promote a product like this if we didn’t believe in its performance.

Love this shaft! July 6, 2011
Reviewer: Will H. from Scottsdale, AZ
heard about this shaft so i decided to do some research on it and found it on this site for cheaper than anywhere else on the web. Decided to give it a try and definitely a good decision. I was hitting a Fubuki before, but this shaft definitely gives the ball much more roll. It has a lower ball spin rate than the Fubuki and a nice launch angle. I'd recommend this shaft to anyone looking for some more roll on their drives or woods. The guys at golfshaftsnmore definitely helped me out too. I contacted them and explained the positives and negatives of this shaft. I'll definitely come back to this site if i need anything else. Thanks!

Gained 10 Yards!!!! December 3, 2010
Reviewer: David Campos from Richmond, VA
I'll admit it, im a golf junkie. Whatever is new, I always try. I'm not the fastest swinger or the most powerful, but I get a decent mid-high launch off the tee. I got the Aldila RIP the week it came out and I'm sold! I first got this shaft from another company, and when it came time to reshaft my fairway woods, I wanted to try golfshaftsnmore.com. As you might see, the prices and selection is what got me.The shaft i received is the same as the first one I got from somewhere else, but the customer service, the quickness in shipping and also the FREE shipping over 150 bucks is what made me jump ship.I used to shop elsewhare for the same components, but now i'm a loyal golfshaftsnmore customer.A personal thanks to nick and jeff who answered all my questions and were really knowlegeable!

Very Nice Shaft November 29, 2010
Reviewer: David Choi from San Diego, CA United States
I purchased one of these from these guys recently and I can say I am pretty impressed so far. I play for a community college team and I can definitely notice the increased roll on my drives. The ball comes out with much less spin and it lands and releases. Great shaft, I'd recommend this to anyone, but it's usually the pilot not the plane. So a good swing will help maximize the technology in the Aldila Rip. I got the Beta version in a Taylor Made Tour Burner TP 8.5*.

best shaft I've EVER hit! 20+ yards on my drive! September 17, 2010
Reviewer: Scott S. from Pebble Beach, CA United States
The Aldila RIP shaft KILLS the ball off the tee! I gained almost 20 yards!

I'm not a PGA pro, but I do have a decent swing, about 105-110 mph.
Its a stiff tip shaft but has a buttery feel thrugh contact.
I have other 70 and 80 gram shafts on other drivers, but even in 60 grams, the torque is so low that the ball stays on the fairway, even on off center shots, better than the heaver shafts!
Not only did my ball flight go down, I gained about an extra 10 yards of carry and and another 10+ yards of roll!

i heard the RIP won 1st and 2nd in the 2010 US Open Championship, so I had to try it.
I fell in love with this shaft, from first sight. black matte paint with gloss print - its subtle yet ferocious, with the skull and red eyes.
I am keeping this in my bag, because of how it plays.

Thanks again to golf shafts n more for your great customer service too! These guys answered all my questions and are great resources for anyone who wants to score low and drive long!

This shaft RIPS!!! August 20, 2010
Reviewer: Daniel Foster from Newport Beach, CA United States
I just got one of these shafts installed and I gained about 10 yards on my drive. The tip stability and the ball flight is REALLY like a tour trajectory. I'm a 7 handicap so I can definitely swing the sticks, but an extra 10 yards is the difference between a 7 iron and an 8 iron and that much closer to the pin. I've already got my buddies on the Aldila Rip bandwagon. I would definitely recommend this shaft to any solid player. The guys at golfshaftsnmore.com are real nice to talk to and they have it for the lowest price on the web with their coupon. Thanks!
