Golf
Shafts come in different launches. MOST Amateur golfers need a High or Mid
launch – depending on the wind on the courses you normally play on.
Higher the launch, the more accurate the shaft, and vice-versa– Most
golfers do not need a LOW launch, unless your swing speed is over 110mph.
Spin
Spin
Rate is determined by the amount of “roll” your ball gets after it hits the
fairway or green. If your ball tends to bounce once or twice and you don’t get
much roll, a LOW Spin shaft might help. The higher the spin, the more
accurate the ball flight, and vice versa. Most amateur golfers will can shoot
lower scores going for a mid to high spin shaft than by trying to juice an
extra 5-10 yards – and being under a tree.
